SAN GREGORIO MINE GEOLOGY AND DEPOSITS

ZAPUCAY & ARGENTINITA

SUMMARY: The Zapucay and Argentinita deposits are located 29 kilometers (trucking distance), southeast of the San Gregorio Plant.   Zapucay was originally mined during the late 1900`s along with San Gregorio but more recently has produced around 900,000 tonnes of ore at 1.76g/t for 51,000 oz Au between 2003 and 2005 and again during 2009.  Mining is currently stopped but is scheduled to recommence F2010.

Mineralization continues south of the Zapucay pit but has been partially eroded away by the Zapucay River.  A prominent hill south of the river was explored and found to host similar mineralization to Zapucay and now is considered to be the continuation of the mineralized Zapucay Shear.  This new deposit is referred to as Knob Hill.  Further south again along the mineralized shear there is another deposit or lode that is referred to as the Argentinita deposit which was drilled extensively and has a NI 43-101 compliant resource. Collectively, including mined and defined, the Zapucay shear is host to more than 150K oz Au.

GEOLOGY: The Zapucay, Knob Hill & Argentinita deposits occur within a low angle, folded shear structure at or near the contact between granitic gneisses and underlying diorite rocks and is referred to as the Zapucay Shear.  The mineralization is hosted in folded, silicified mylonites and sub-horizontal quartz-carbonate lodes.  The principal alteration assemblage associated with the mineralization is comprised of silica-carbonate-sericite-pyrite-chlorite.

RESOURCES: Mine Development Associates (MDA) completed a resource estimate for Argentinita in July 2007.  The total estimated indicated and inferred resource is 2.2Mt at 1.4g/t for 100Koz Au.  Currently OMI has converted about 17Koz Au to reserves at Argentinita.  Zapucay has not had an independent resource estimation completed to date but several internal (OMI) resource models and estimates have been completed for mine planning purposes including Knob Hill

EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT PLANS (2H-F2009-2010): Additional resource definition drilling is planned for Zapucay (south), Knob Hill and Argentinita (north).  Resource modeling will be required and it is anticipated that additional reserve ounces will be added to the F2010 mine plan.   Mining at Zapucay, Knob Hill and Argentinita is scheduled to recommence in F2010.
